Penny Adams
Head Receptionist > Beccles
Penny joined the practice in June 2008 after a long career break and took on the role of Head Receptionist in 2012. She lives in Beccles and enjoys walking her Terrier Meg in the local woods or on the beach.
Sarah Roberts
Receptionist > Beccles
Sarah started full time work at the Beccles Practice in 1991 when it was known as James, Bardsley and Hope. After a break to raise her family, she is back working in Reception. In her spare time Sarah enjoys holidays and time with her children.
Lisa Potter
Receptionist > Beccles
Lisa studied Equine Management at Otley College of Agricutlure and Horticulture and qualified as a British Horse Society Instructor in 1994. Lisa started work as a full time receptionist at Three Rivers in 2002 but more recently has worked part time in order to bring up her young family. In her spare time she enjoys horse riding and running.
Karen Short
Receptionist > Beccles
Karen started work part time at the Loddon practice in 1997 and joined us full time in 1998. She has worked here since and is very experienced in reception. Karen also deals with ordering and stock control and general clerical duties. Outside working hours Karen enjoys holidaying with husband Keith in Scotland and spending time with her grandchildren.
Ellie Cossey
Receptionist > Beccles
Ellie joined Three Rivers in July 2017 having previously worked in retail. Ellie always wanted to work with animals and enjoys being part of reception. Ellie has 2 dogs called Daisy and Belle who she loves very much. In her spare time Ellie enjoys socialising with friends and spending time with her family.
Stacey Shiplee
Receptionist
Stacey joined Three Rivers in June 2017. Stacey can be seen working at any of the branches and loves that no one day is the same. Stacey has always had a fondness for animals and veterinary care, having owned horses and small animals from a young age. In her spare time she enjoys running, swimming, spending time with her family and socializing with friends. Stacey is also a very keen football fan and has two cats, Indy and Chewie. Stacey really enjoys her job as you never know what is going to come through the door, and she loves meeting our clients and their animal families.
Jakki Tompkins
Receptionist > Beccles and Loddon
Jakki started at our Beccles practice on saturdays in November 2015 and has since progressed to doing more hours at Beccles and Loddon.Jakki also works part time riding and caring for horses which is a hobby she has enjoyed since very young.
In her free time she enjoys walking her two dogs Fern and Bella and spending time with family and friends! Another love of Jakki’s is spending time with the cows where her partner works, either halter training on the farm or away at shows! Sometimes they even get walked down the road back to Jakki’s house!
Lynn Plane
Receptionist > Loddon
Lynn has been with Three Rivers in Loddon since 1993 when they bought the practice from the previous vet who she also worked for as a receptionist. After all this time she knows the clients and pets very well! In her spare time Lynn enjoys long distance walking, swimming and baking.
Jane Aarons
Receptionist > Loddon
Jane has worked for Three Rivers since 2005 and enjoys working with all animals. She has trained in the equestrian profession as a Riding Instructor/Groom and competes with her own horse “Woody”. She also has two dogs and loves to walk them in the local countryside.
Sue Collins
Receptionist > Poringland
Sue has worked at the Poringland surgery as a Receptionist since March 2003. She has three tabby cats, Tibbs, Betty and Boris. In her spare time Sue loves gardening, visiting other people’s gardens, National Trust gardens and basically anything to do with gardening! She also enjoys spending time with the grandchildren and going for long walks on the coast.
Brenda Skoulding
Receptionist > Kessingland
Brenda has been a Receptionist at Three Rivers since November 2000 having previously worked in banking. She has spent time at our Beccles, Poringland and Loddon branches before settling at Kessingland. She has two dogs, Millie and Dilly who both love coming to work with from time to time!
Julie Shore
Receptionist > Kessingland
Julie has worked at Kessingland as a Receptionist since 2000 and also works some Saturdays at the Loddon Surgery. She enjoys her job very much and relishes the fact that no two days are the same! In her spare time she enjoys walking her Labrador Alfie who also comes to work with her. Her hobbies are cooking, walking and having fun with her grandchildren.
Mandy Grimmer
Receptionist > Kessingland
Mandy joined Three Rivers in 1991 intially working at our Beccles Surgery, moving to the Kessingland branch when it opened. Outside work she enjoys family holidays and walking.
Jackie Brown
Receptionist > Beccles
Jackie started work at Three Rivers in July 2017 having previously worked in Pharmacy and child care. Outside of work Jackie enjoys spending time with her family which includes her lurcher and 2 cats. Jackie also enjoys live music and shopping.
Karen Bartholomew
Receptionist > Norwich
Karen started work at Three Rivers in January 2017 having previously worked as a Deputy Manager at a children’s nursery. They always say, never work with children or animals, she seems to have done both!
Karen has 2 grown up children, a cat and a very lively Labrador.  She enjoys reading and walking and loves to go out for good food and fine wine.
Dawn Gladwell
Receptionist > Norwich & Poringland
Dawn joined the practice in 2013 as a Receptionist and is based mainly at the Norwich and Poringland practices. She has a young mischievous puppy who will shortly be embarking on Puppy Training classes in the near future! In her spare time she enjoys a variety of keep-fit classes.
Sara Taylor
Receptionist > Norwich
Sara started work at Three Rivers in 2012 after moving back to Norwich with her family. She has always had a keen interest in animals from a young age and has done lots of voluntary work with various animal charities and has a Diploma in Animal Management and Canine Studies. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and taking her Collie “Polly” to the beach.
